New Bill Would Destroy ATF's Gun Registry!
The "No Registry Rights Act" aims to dismantle the ATF's existing firearm transaction records database and prevent the creation of a federal firearms registry. Introduced by Congressman Michael Cloud and Senator Jim Risch, the bill addresses concerns that the ATF's Out of Business Records Imaging System (OBRISS) holds over 920 million records, potentially enabling door-to-door confiscation. The legislation mandates the deletion of current records and prohibits future registry creation.
