Beretta APX - The forgotten striker gun that people should care about
The Beretta APX, initially designed for the Army's M17 program, is now a high-value duty-grade pistol retailing around $370. Despite its 'ugly' aesthetics and a unique firing pin block mechanism, it offers excellent ergonomics with a modular frame and aggressive texturing. The trigger is rated 'Nice' with a crisp break, and its low bore axis makes it a soft-shooting and accurate firearm. While aftermarket support is limited, Beretta provides ample official accessories and affordable magazines.
