Felk TF919: Australia and Spain Team Up to Make a Lousy Pistol
The Felk TF919 was a 1990s attempt at an Australian-Spanish collaboration, featuring an open-top slide design inspired by Beretta and an 18-round 9mm magazine. However, poor manufacturing quality, particularly in the polymer frame's construction and visible seams, combined with subcontracting issues with a financially struggling Star of Spain, led to its commercial failure. Later MTF models with closed slides and Glock-style safeties also failed, making all Felk pistols rare today.
