M1903 Springfield: Best Bolt Gun of the World Wars
The M1903 Springfield is hailed as the best bolt-action rifle of the World Wars, superior to the K98 Mauser in smoothness and overall design. Its A3 variant introduced stamped parts and improved peep sights. Despite being replaced by the M1 Garand, it remained in service, notably as a sniper rifle, and is highly collectible today.
