South African Kommando: The "Rhuzi"
The South African Kommando, or 'Rhuzi', is a semi-automatic carbine designed by Alex du Plessis in Rhodesia for civilian self-defense. It features an open-bolt design, a two-piece telescoping bolt for easier manufacturing, and uses standard Uzi magazines. South African models incorporated an anti-burst safety hook, and approximately 10,000 units were produced.
