What's more important? Twist Rate, Bullet Weight, Ammunition Quality?
This video tests the impact of bullet weight on accuracy in a 1:8 twist 5.56 chambered rifle using Nosler ammunition. The experiment involved shooting 35, 55, 62, and 77-grain loads at 100 yards. While all loads performed reasonably well, the 62-grain load was identified as the champion for this specific rifle and day, with the 77-grain load performing slightly worse than expected. The test suggests that high-quality ammunition can sometimes overcome potential mismatches between rifling twist rate and bullet weight.
