Gun Buyback TROLLED for $21k… When "everything" is a firearm, it's going to get expensive...
A New York man reportedly earned $21,000 by 3D printing over 100 non-functional firearm lower receivers and frames and submitting them to a state-sponsored gun buyback program. This incident highlights how poorly designed buyback programs can create perverse demand and be exploited, rather than effectively reducing crime or removing actual firearms from circulation. The Attorney General's office has since adjusted policies to prevent similar exploitation.
