Injunction Granted Against Pistol Brace Rule, Court Smacks Down ATF's Rule
A preliminary injunction has been granted in Mock v. Garland, temporarily blocking the ATF's pistol brace rule for the plaintiffs involved. While this is a significant victory and indicates the court sees a likelihood of the rule being overturned on its merits, it currently only applies to the named plaintiffs. The case is being expedited, and there's hope for a nationwide injunction before the rule's effective date of June 1st.
