Whats up with the 34?
Ben Stoeger discusses his continued use of the Glock 34, explaining it's a legacy choice from the iron sight era due to its longer sight radius. He notes that with red dot optics, preferences have shifted towards shorter slide/recoil spring combinations like the Glock 45 and 47 for a quicker, more precise recoil impulse. While he doesn't recommend buying new Glock 34s, he acknowledges their reliability and performance, with some of his models having seen over 100,000 rounds.
