Are Shorter Barrels LESS Accurate? (INSANE Test Results)
This video tests whether shorter barrels are less accurate by comparing a 7-inch CMMG Dissent against a 24-inch Bear Creek Arsenal AR-15 upper at 100 yards. Using the same Triton Orion 1-10x optic, the 24-inch barrel achieved a 1-inch group, while the 7-inch barrel surprisingly produced a 1.5-inch group. The conclusion is that while the longer barrel is technically more accurate, the shorter barrel is remarkably effective, debunking the myth that shorter barrels are inherently inaccurate.
