NON RESIDENT CCW IN CALIFORNIA
This video announces a significant legal development allowing non-residents to apply for a California Concealed Carry Permit (CCW). The CRPA, SAF, GOA, and GOC have achieved a preliminary win against the LA Sheriff's Department, enabling non-residents to obtain a California CCW without needing to be physically present in the state for interviews, fingerprinting, or training. The process, once finalized by a judge, will require applicants to be members of one of the involved organizations and apply to a specific county sheriff or city PD based on a good faith intention to visit within the next year. Training requirements, including live fire, can potentially be completed outside of California, with provisions for remote interviews and mailed fingerprints.
