Barbuda Helmet BULLETPROOF? (Medieval TEST)
This video tests the ballistic resistance of a Barbuda helmet, an Italian 15th-century design, against various projectiles. It begins with a Steambow repeating crossbow, which caused minor damage but no penetration. Subsequent tests with modern firearms, including birdshot, .22LR, .380 Auto, 9mm, 5.56x45mm, and 7.62x39mm, reveal significant limitations. The helmet failed to stop the 9mm, 5.56x45mm, and 7.62x39mm rounds, with the 7.62x39mm causing substantial blowout on the backside. The conclusion is that the Barbuda helmet is not reliable for protection against modern firearms.
